COVENANT COMMITMENT

In the RiverTree family of churches, covenant partnership is the way we describe what it means for us to live out our common mission together as the family of God.  
Our covenant with Christ brings us into the family of God, and our partnership with one another is how we fulfill the commission of God together in every place we live, work, and play. Each church has its local expression of what it means to be “all in” and live as a disciple of Jesus on mission together.

RiverTree Lake is on mission to make disciples of Jesus one person, one family, and one neighborhood at a time. 

Covenant Partnership at RiverTree Lake is our commitment to one another as a family on mission.
Having trusted in Jesus as my Leader and Rescuer, I feel led by the Holy Spirit to unite with the RiverTree Lake family.
In doing so, I commit myself to pursuing the following:

1. I will support the testimony of my church by:

Getting baptized, living a godly life, attending faithfully, and giving regularly. (Heb.10:25, Phil. 1:27, l Cor. 16:2, Lev. 27:30) 

2. I will share the responsibility of my church by:

Praying for its growth, inviting the unchurched to attend, and warmly welcoming those who visit. (1 Thess. 1:1-2, Luke 14:23, Rom.15:7) 

3. I will serve the ministry of my church by:

Discovering my gifts and talents, being equipped to serve by my pastors, and developing a servant's heart. (1 Peter 4:10, Eph. 4: 11-12, Phil. 2:3-4, 7)

4. I will shield the unity of my church by:

Acting in love toward other members, refusing to gossip, supporting our leaders.(Rom. 14:19, 1 Peter 1:22, Eph. 4:29, Heb. 13:17)
