How much does it cost?
SCUBA VBS is free to attend.
Who can attend SCUBA VBS?
SCUBA VBS is open to kids entering Preschool through 5th Grade.
What if my child is entering 6th Grade?
Students entering 6th Grade are invited to serve as volunteers. We have several roles that are perfect for them, including assisting group leaders and helping with younger preschool VBS groups.
Will preschoolers be with the older kids?
No. Our preschool VBS runs separately from the elementary groups. Preschoolers stay in their own groups and rotate through all of their stations with preschool-only groups and volunteers, allowing activities to be designed specifically for their age and stage.
Do I need to register my child?
Yes. All children must be registered in order to attend VBS. Registration helps us prepare supplies, organize groups, and ensure a safe check-in process.
Do kids have to attend every night?
No. While we encourage kids to attend all four nights, they are welcome to attend even if they need to miss a night.
What happens during a typical VBS night?
Kids rotate through several fun stations including:
- Worship and music
- Interactive Bible lessons
- Games and team activities
- Crafts and hands-on experiences
- Snacks
Is VBS safe?
Yes. Kids are placed in age-appropriate groups with consistent leaders throughout the week. All volunteers ages 19 and older are background checked, and our team follows several safety procedures to help create a safe and welcoming environment for every child. What about food allergies?
We provide allergy-friendly snacks whenever possible. Please note your child’s allergies during registration so our team can plan ahead and care for your child appropriately.
Can my child bring a friend?
Absolutely. VBS is a great opportunity for kids to invite their friends and neighbors. Just make sure they are registered before attending.
Do parents stay during VBS?
Parents drop off and pick up their kids each evening. Our team will help make check-in and pick-up simple and secure.
What should my child wear?
Kids should wear comfortable clothes and shoes that are good for active games and activities.
When does volunteer registration close?
Volunteer registration closes July 12, 2026.
What volunteer opportunities are available?
We have many volunteer opportunities available, including group leaders, snack team, outdoor games, craft helpers, acting, singing, and more. There are many ways to serve, and you can choose the role where you feel most comfortable.
